So, I have been horrible at keeping this updated, BUT that has not kept me from my continued quest to get my "Bath & Body Closet" under control! I also decided to try to start using up some makeup items as well, just to start getting my makeup collection under control as well.
I started the makeup portion by going through everything I have and throwing out anything that was no longer good, and making a bag of things like eyeshadows and other easily sanitized items to be given to my mom and sister.
Since January 1st, 2011 (My last update on this project) I have used up more than 20 items to be added to my list!
Just as I did in my last post, I am going to include my older used up items in this list, and all new items will appear to be BOLD so that you can see my progress.

I am loving the newly found space in my "Bath & Body Closet"- It can finally be used once again for its meant storage purpose- towels & other linens! All my Bath & Body items now fit neatly on 1 shelf!
I am well over my goal of 10 items used up, so here is my mission: I am extending my "Project 10" into a "Project 50" for right now, and if I can reach that go, we may continue to go forward with a higher goal in the fututre!

CoverGirl NatureLuxe Liquid Silk Foundation: A Review

I recently received a full size sample of CoverGirl’s NatureLuxe Liquid Silk Foundation to try out.
I will admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, I really didn’t think this foundation was going to give me the kind of coverage I usually like, I thought I would be getting a very light almost tinted moisturizer finish with this. I also was worried about the staying power for my skin type. I have combination skin; parts seem to be very dry, while others get greasy.
That being said, this lasted for about 8-10 hours on me work over my favorite primer, and set with a finishing powder. AMAZING! I don’t typically leave my makeup on more than 8 to 10 hours anyway, so knowing it will last that long gives me the confidence to rock it out and about, even to an important occasion.
The foundation goes on with a velvety, light texture, it melts right in and I can barely feel it on my skin! I love that! I hate nothing more than feeling like I am wearing a thick mask of products on my face! And the best part, I get a great medium to full coverage with this paired with a primer! This foundation feels very luxurious, very similar to a more expensive high end type of foundation.
The packaging is sleek, in a small green squeeze tube, that offers up 1oz of product, you are able to have great control over how much foundation comes out of the tube, and is so much less of a mess than several other popular foundations that do not offer this style packaging or a pump, rather the open mouth jar style bottles.
I have yet to find a reason why I do not love this foundation, and I will definitely be repurchasing this, once my full size sample is gone!
A+ CoverGirl! You have gotten a customer back! =)
